![]() ![]() I didn't like how dumb Sadie seemed to be, she was a DOCTOR, with a degree and knowledge of medicine and pills yet she was too trustful of her cheating hussy of a husband. I was along for the ride once I caught up, being both surprised and upset at the lengths evil can go. We finally get to the second half and that's when the story picks up and what a twist it is! When a mental illness is done right it can make the story good. I hated her husband but I couldn't pinpoint why, but then I thought it was because he cried so much when Sadie brought something to his attention. The main character, Sadie, was starting to grate on my nerves. This started out as a slow suspicious atmospheric read. But the fact that he hangs on to her photograph after all these years is hard to stomach. ![]() I can't possible nag him over again about his dead fiancee. ![]() To bring Erin up again would be in poor taste. ![]()
